Phase 1: Screening

Sorting – we receive all types of electronic devices and sort them based on which tests we need to perform.

Data erasure
– we securely delete data in full compliance with GDPR.

Charging
– we check the battery is at least 20% charged, so it would be ready for testing.

Phase 2: Testing

Software checkup – BIOS check, boot check.


Physical damage control
– screen scratches, back side and frame scratches, buttons, camera, missing parts.


Functionality screening
– Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, cloud lock, sensors, Face ID, Touch ID, water damage, SIM.

Phase 3: Repairing

Fixing devices – testing determines the devices that need repairs and what kind of attention they require.


Battery check
– all devices need to have at least 80% battery health.


Component replacement
– if we found any parts of the device to be broken, missing, or performing below par, we replace them with original working parts.

Phase 4: Grading

Determining a grade – phones are graded based on a specific marketplace’s requirements. Even though the grades may vary between marketplaces, across one marketplace, the quality you receive will be consistent.


Packaging
– we keep our packaging simple to make recycling easier. Each marketplace sets its own requirements for what must be included in a package, so our products may come with or without certain extras, such as a charging cable.
